This program provided me with practical experience in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). It has also, helped me develop a high level of professionalism to my work. Throughout the duration of this program, I not only honed my GIS and data analysis skills but also learned how to write formal reports, technical memorandums, and project proposals.

I graduated with a double Major in GIS and Anthropology. I chose to Major in GIS because it provided me with the ability to solve spatial problems regardless of the application. The program itself was immensely technical and theory laden. Yet simultaneously, I learned about the environment, ecology, geography, and culture. I thoroughly admire the intersections between Geography, Anthropology, and GIS.
